Terms of Service

This is an agreement between you and HoangTuTools about your use of our website, our web application and our VideoTranslate desktop application. By creating an account or using any feature, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

We provide AI tools for processing video and speech: video translation, dubbing, subtitle generation and translation, converting between text and speech, separating vocals from music, cutting short clips, and voice cloning. Which features you can use depends on your plan. We may add, change or discontinue a feature, and we will give notice in advance if that materially affects a plan you are paying for.

2. Accounts and free trial

• You must be 16 or older. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to represent it.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done through it.
• New accounts get a free trial of 3 jobs, counted for the lifetime of the account. Jobs that fail or that you cancel do not count against it.
• Do not create multiple accounts to get around the trial limit.

3. Payment

• The price and duration of each plan are listed on the pricing page. The price that applies to you is the one shown at the moment you pay.
• A time-limited plan stops working when it expires. You can still sign in afterwards, but you cannot create new jobs.
• Your right to use the service is personal and non-transferable. Do not share, rent or resell it.

4. Content you upload

You keep all rights to the content you upload and to the results. We claim no ownership and we do not use your content to train AI models.

You confirm that for every piece of content you upload you are the owner, you have the owner's permission, or you have another valid legal basis for using it.

For the feature that downloads video from other platforms: it exists so that you can retrieve content you have the right to use. Downloading and reusing someone else's video may infringe copyright and breach that platform's terms — that is your responsibility.

5. You are responsible for the content you create

Specifically, you — not we — are responsible for:

• The accuracy of translations, transcripts, subtitles and generated speech before you put them to use.
• Any consequence of publishing or using content produced by the service.
• Whether that content complies with the law and respects other people's copyright, privacy and reputation.
• Complying with the terms of the platforms where you publish the content.

If a third party brings a claim relating to content you uploaded or created, you are responsible for resolving it and for indemnifying us against the losses and reasonable costs arising from that claim.

6. Voice cloning

A voice is personal data. By using this feature you confirm that:

• The sample is your own voice, or you have the explicit consent of the person whose voice it is.
• You will not clone the voice of a public figure, or of anyone else, without permission.
• You will not use a cloned voice to impersonate anyone, to commit fraud, to defeat voice authentication, or to fabricate statements attributed to someone else.

Breaching this section is grounds for immediate account suspension with no refund.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the service to:

• Create or process content that is unlawful under Vietnamese law.
• Defraud, impersonate, defame or harass anyone, or create false information intended to manipulate public opinion.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or reputation.
• Interfere with, modify or defeat the application's licence checks, or use a modified build.
• Send abnormal volumes of requests to overload the service, probe for vulnerabilities, or access other users' data.
• Resell the service or share your access with several people at once.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for the content you create with the service, or for how you use it.
• We are not liable for errors in AI-generated results.
• We are not liable for indirect losses: lost revenue, lost business opportunities, damage to reputation, or data lost because you kept no backup.
• Our total liability in any event will not exceed what you paid us in the 6 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We aim to keep the service running continuously but we do not commit to a specific uptime figure; there may be downtime for maintenance or because of events outside our control. The limits in this section do not exclude liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms; for serious breaches this takes effect immediately and without refund. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy. When an account is terminated the related files may be deleted, so download anything you want to keep.

10. Changes to these terms, and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the "Last updated" date at the top; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. In the event of a dispute both parties will first seek a good-faith negotiated settlement; failing that, the dispute goes to a competent court in Vietnam. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
